The Event
From the glacier to the sea
For every road cyclist, covering 300 km in a single day is a legendary milestone.
Only a few have ever achieved this feat. The Alpe-Adria region offers a one-of-a-kind route for this challenge.
Starting from the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe at around 2,500m, the route takes you across Carinthia, through Tarvis, over the Sella Nevea Pass, and past Gemona, mostly descending all the way to Grado on the Adriatic coast.

Accomodation information
For the FUGA 300, we have arranged exclusive accommodation partnerships with special rates in Heiligenblut and Grado, available to participants at preferential prices.
The final details are currently being finalized, and all relevant information will be shared soon.
Of course, we have reserved sufficient spots in our partner accommodations, but the choice of lodging remains entirely up to each participant. If you prefer an alternative accommodation, organizing your own transfer to the event program and starting point will be your responsibility.
Initial Schedule Overview
Friday, June 13, 2025
- 1:00 PM – Meeting point at SEZ parking lot in Villach + Check-in
- 2:00 PM – Bus departure from Nationalparklodge to Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe (If it rains in the morning, we will start in Heiligenblut)
- 6:00 PM – FUGA 300 Race Briefing followed by dinner at the Heiligenblut Community Hall (mandatory for all participants)
Saturday, June 14, 2025
- 6:00 AM – Bus departure from Nationalparklodge (Hof 5, 9844 Heiligenblut) to Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe
- 7:00 AM (sharp!) – FUGA 300 Start (If it rains in the morning, we will start in Heiligenblut!)
- Around 6:00 PM – Finish in Grado, followed by a snack at the beach
- 7:30 PM – Bus transfer to the campsites (Bikes must be loaded in advance)
- From 9:00 PM – Group BBQ at Punta Spin (Pre-registration at Punta Spin required)
Sunday, June 15, 2025
- 10:00 AM – Departure from Punta Spin, with stops at Club Del Sole and Hotel Savoy
- Around 12:00 PM – Arrival in Villach at the designated parking area
