For any road cyclist 300km in one day is a mystical mark. Only a few have ever ridden this. The Alpe-Adria region offers a unique route for this undertaking.
From the emperor – Franz – Josefs – height on about 2500m goes`s crosswise through Carinthia, after Tarvis over the Sella Nevea pass and Gemona predominantly downhill to Grado at the Adriatic Sea.
The main route markings are Heiligenblut – Winklern – Spittal an der Drau – Villach – Tarvis – Sella Nevea – Gemona- Cividale – Aquileia – Grado.

From the glacier to the sea
From the Kaiser – Franz – Josefs – Höhe at about 2500m goes`s across Carinthia, the Sella Nevea Pass and Gemona mainly downhill to Grado on the Adriatic Sea.
